I love my life!  I am so happy and fulfilled in my walk with the Lord.  Being at Trinity Bible College the past two years has been the absolute joy of my entire Christian adventure.    Psalm 37:23-24 fills me with such courage.  This is what it says, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand."

There are some nuggets of truth in this beautiful Psalm, so let me share them with you:

  1. The Lord directs our steps.  If we honor God and delight in Him, we can have full confidence in Him - He orders the steps that we take.
  2. If we stumble, which is always a profound possibility because we are human; He will uphold us with his hand.  I see this beautiful image of God holding his hands out to catch me when I stumble.  In the same way I put my hands out to catch my grand son when he falls, God reaches out to grasp me when I stumble.  Beautiful!
  3. Things will not always be perfect in our Christian walk, we may trip up, but we can be assured of is, if we delight in Him, He will uphold us with his hand.

What a safe place to be.  I am happy that the Lord has ordered my steps. The pathway has not always been easy, but He has upheld me all the way.  I am delighted in Him!

I am and always will be,

Recklessly abandoned, ruthlessly committed and in relentless pursuit of Jesus,
